Launch Beer into the Stratosphere

January 16, 2009

I’m sitting here drinking a bottle of Mirror Pond Pale Ale tonight, and it just reinforces my love for all pale ales.

So, apparently UC-Davis has a Master Brewers Program.  In 18 weeks, and $15,000, you too can become a Master Brewer.

By the way, this won’t always be about beer.  From this point forward, I will talk (write) about everything from movies to comic books to music to my day to politics to fiction to beer.  Yes, I know, it sounds terribly exciting.

I hear what you are saying about Pale Ales, but I myself have lately been leaning toward Stouts and Porters, especially with the winter temperatures. I love the Sierra Nevada Stout, and of course Black Butte Porter, which can’t be had in WV.

But the question is Ab, does a Master’s in Brewing create a Master Brewer. If only I had the money to find out.
